The iPhone 3G is officially coming to Rogers on July 11 along with 21 other countries around the world! Fido joined parent carrier Rogers Communications on Thursday in offering the iPhone 3G in Canada in July, but was equally mum on pricing and availability details. A Rogers spokesperson on Tuesday was not able to confirm whether the company had an exclusive deal with Apple. However, as it stands right now, Rogers is currently the only Canadian carrier with a network that is compatible with the iPhone 3G, but that field could expand early next year as new cellphone carriers are expected to begin operations.
